i decided it was time to re-label the mail tubs. i have been on the job for 3 months and figured it was best to have my name on them instead of who trained me. so i got out the plastic used for UPS labels and wrote out some new labels. it said 'return to (city name)' on one side of the tub, and my name and mail code on the other side. it is no doubt more uniform now. there are 8 tubs and i noticed how one of them had a label on only one side of it. i also decided to peel off all of the old stickers from them, which took a little while. in other issues, i was unable to get into an application for about 2 hours this morning, so check printing was delayed. but it didn't take long to get caught up, aided by being a fairly low volume day. building maintenance was also called in to take care of the emergency door alarm, a 9-volt battery was replaced as it kept chirping.
i went on a walk in the evening and picked up 12 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when sheldon was asked to draw up a 'relationship agreement' for leonard and penny. it was followed by when leonard was approached by both penny and stuart for advice on their date. i also made it to the hy-vee in eagan, moved up this weekly visit by one day as i have plans on friday. there were a few items i didn't buy for this reason, such as bananas. hopeful to find some when i go to aldi this weekend.
