cans of corn

more food was found near my home, in a box. it was not only 6 cans of corn that i claimed, but also 2 cans of fruit, 2 cans of applesauce, and 3 boxes of cereal. there was another box that i left behind, it had 4 cans of mixed vegetables, and plenty of perishable items such as almond milk, cheese, flaked potatoes, and dried cranberries. still hard to believe that so much perfectly good food is thrown out. i checked the cereal and i figured it was still good because the box wasn't even opened yet. so after i went inside to leave my lunch bag and leather jacket, i went back for the food. it will all get used eventually, although not in just one week.
at work there was more test checks to print, in the afternoon, 7 in all. they were all penny checks, a reminder of cities i have visited. and it meant scanning them to the rest of the group once they were printed. i did this in the afternoon when the IT man contacted me, i had just returned from lunch.
in the evening i did a virtual open-mic and was the only performer besides the moderator, who had her mic off when i started watching. after it was done i went on a walk and found 37 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when sheldon and leonard had a semantic discussion when doign some illegal business, followed by when raj dealt with his parents trying to arrange a marriage to a dentist. this was also the one where raj asks sheldon why sheldon is telling him about his own culture.
