tria rink

i had 2 job interviews today. after the second, which was in downtown st. paul, i decided to get a look at the new tria rink. it is in the former macy's department store building. there was a segment on TV recently about it. there was a sign up after i got off the elevator for that floor which said something about putting on the finishing touches. it looked great, and i saw a Zamboni clearing the ice while i was there. it was part of the photos that i decided to take. i saw the new Walgreen location in the same building as well. that store recently moved across the street.
i am thankful i had a decent amount of time between the interviews today. it meant i was able to get to the library and print some things, as well as time to eat at home before the second one. i decided to take the bus to work, much like when i had worked downtown. i feel good about the second one, way better than the first. i was more lively, enthusiastic, at it, describing the duties i performed before that were relevant to the job i might get. so now that means i have been on 9 in-person interviews. i know the result of five of them, waiting to hear about the other four. i had 2 voicemails for me when i turned my phone on after getting home from the library. one was from an interview last month, i got voicemail when i tried to respond to it. the waiting is the hardest part.
i performed at 2 different venues tonight, i liked how one is walking distance from the other. i found out water was available at the first one, so that became my drink there instead of beer. i was pleased to pick up some coins as well, and i used some of them right away. one place i saw during my walk i know has a 'quarter candy vending machine' and i used it twice. i like the reese's pieces they have there. i don't know what else to call it, when one puts in a quarter and gets some candy from it. what i like is how it seems to satisfy my craving well.
