I spent most of the day inside doing sorting and cleanup. Didn't have much to eat for a while, an oatmeal cream pie for breakfast and a single serving of Wells Blue Bunny ice cream for lunch. So of course I was weak by the evening, when I went out to get some Little Caesar's pizza.
I accomplished plenty. More boxes are labeled now, and I did find a few things I like seeing again. This included my Illinois driver license and my Des Plaines pool pass. And I did find my baseball card made at the 2009 All-Star Game Fan-fest. Since these items are the size of baseball cards, at some point I would like to get them into an album. After I had the pizza in the evening eventually I did go to Target and got more sheets for the baseball cards and a photo album, as I have filled one from the E-bay orders.
I can tell how there is even more to be done, but I think I will be satisfied eventually. It's better to do things piecemeal and have breaks in order to avoid getting burned out by it. I am used to doing these cleanups and I know eventually I will run out of steam. I think this is why it was a good idea how I still did something with the baseball cards tonight. This meant getting the 1987 edition cards from the Iowa Cub game in the albums. I have decided to sort them by team and currently have two separate binders that I am putting most of them in. A third is being used for offbeat cards, mostly non-baseball cards. I liked how these cards mean I have added quite a bit to my collection for this particular year. Many of the teams have full pages now just from this edition.
