After I got back from the comedy club tonight I wanted to get right to returning things to normal in my home. This included more cleaning, specifically vacuuming the rugs as this hadn't been done in quite a while.
At the comedy club the show runner did a joke about sock puppets that I liked. I also liked how the sub teacher is doing more jokes about his day job. He said this was because they're relatable, as most of us recall having sub teachers in school.
At work there was a Health Ahead Fair. I attended it after taking an early lunch. I wanted to be at the St. Paul Saints block party downtown. Some were offering pocket schedules, I said I already had them. I had a slice of Little Caesar's pizza, along with a bowl from Noodles and Company. The Health Ahead Fair lasted four hours, I finally did partake of it after it had been going for two hours. I said I probably wasn't going to get caught up on work until all of my colleagues had left so I might as well go to the fair now. It was hard to compete with the activity nearby in the hall anyway. It was the punch card or passport system, and the final one I did was the health screening held in the main conference room. There was chair massages available as well. Some of the prizes looked familiar, ones I had received in previous years. The final station was the "Plinko" chip board, and I won a lanyard. I said it would go next to the one I have advertising the surfer movie 'Blue Crush', which is on my hat rack. It was given to me after a Weezer concert in suburban Chicago about a decade ago. I think I also have one that is red and maroon, through the Roosevelt Mentoring Program. The health screener liked to hear how I was at the Saints block party, so we talked about baseball quite a bit during the session.
