for some reason i had a song stuck in my head at work, i was humming it when lunching and couldn't figure it out for a while. then i realized it was Lady Gaga's 'judas'. and the line was 'in the most biblical sense, i am beyond repentance'. i also liked the line, 'vomits her mind' as i have said that before in a Facebook posting. i said something was a little off in my performing, then i took a walk and decided to vomit my thoughts in the posting. as for the 'beyond repentance' line it sounded familiar, a similar sentiment was found in a smashing pumpkins song, 'bullet with butterfly wings'. 'i still believe that i cannot be saved'. I've noticed how a lot of things for me end up becoming a 'love letter' to performing. as for my work duties, it started off with an instant message from the previous night. it was asking about an overnighted check, sent to Canada. i checked the tracking number and it had already been delivered. there were five check copy requests, i am not used to seeing that many. i did them all at once, let them pile up a little. a newer employee in our department asked me to do an overnight label for the refund checks, as vacation replacement was out of the office. the check backlog fell to just under a thousand by the end of the day. most of the Fargo envelopes were backordered for this month but arrived in the morning.
