there was a dial-in meeting in the morning, the manager that likes to do karaoke was a part of it. this was about reviewing template assistance. i did not speak at all during this meeting, not the first time that this has happened. it left me wondering why i was invited to it, but what i like about dial-ins is that i can still get some of my normal duties done during that time. the issue was tabled as the moderator wasn't familiar enough with everything. from what i understood, it was about our written procedures. time was running out on registering for health insurance benefits, end of the week is the deadline. i took care of it in the morning, didn't take long. basically elected what i have had before- medical, dental and vision, and for just me. then i printed the confirmation as i like having a hard copy as proof of having registered. i drank the bottle of Stella Artois with the evening meal and got a can of Hamm's from the nearby liquor store so i still have four beers waiting. i also got two event tickets ordered for events happening next month. one is a play, and the other is a hockey game. i will get those printed this weekend.
