in the afternoon i went to see a movie, it was 'Jay Kelly', at St. Anthony main in Minneapolis. this was George Clooney kind of playing himself, an actor. i liked the Adam Sandler character the most, playing his manager. it was nice seeing a comedian playing a serious role. the Laura Dern character, the publicist, i didn't like, as she called her client 'an infant'. there was a scene showing clips from Clooney movies, i liked how two of them were from 'up in the air', one of my favorite movies. Stacy Keach played his dad, although i recall how his real-life dad, nick, was in 'monuments men'. much of the storyline takes place in Italy, including the scene with the movie clips where his character is being honored. it was time to have the evening meal when the movie was done, and i stopped at Bobby and Steve's and picked up a little Godfather's pizza. i ate half of it in my car and the other half was taken home and will be eaten the next day. when i got home i went to Aldi to get groceries. i usually go a little earlier in the day, i made it there during the final hour that they were open for the day. i did plenty before the movie. around midday i made it to the post office, two orders were picked up. then i went to the copy store and printed some event tickets. then it was time for lunch so i went to Jersey Mike's for a sandwich.
