join call? too busy

it was a high-volume day on check printing, and i saw an instant message asking me to join a call, or what i call a 'dial-in meeting'. except i was busy tending to the envelope stuffing machine and didn't see the request in time. it appears to be about more printing of test checks, as that is what i ended up doing. except it was a different business line this time, court orders. as usual, i say i want to be caught up on live check printing before i switch over to a different system or database. i was asked to positive pay the file after i had printed it, normally i don't do that for test checks. when i did i got a pop-up, and i was prevented from doing so. i reported it to the i.t. rep who asked me to print the checks. due to the high volume on the Fargo checks, there was a backlog again, just under two thousand. it was a struggle to do as many as i did as i was getting the 'hot product error' fairly often after a while. i know this doesn't happen in the afternoon, or if i let the checks sit overnight and run them through the next morning. despite this, i still sent out two full regular mail tubs at the end of the day. in the evening, i was riding the light rail home. i saw how transit police were dealing with a rider that apparently was bothering others and hadn't paid his fare. we were delayed a few minutes, but this man saluted a cop that had arrived to escort him off of the train.
