not sure if it was construction workers or window washers, but at lunch i saw some ropes from the window in the breakroom. when i went back to my office on the other side of the floor, in the afternoon i was hearing music near the window. it was pearl jam's 'last kiss'. the backlog was eliminated on the Fargo checks in the morning, aided by a low volume of what had arrived for the day. an i.t. rep asked me to print some more test checks from the account closure file, based in Kansas City. much like before, my boss was copied when i forwarded it. i also saw an instant message about a check i had overnighted to Canada, i had to say it hadn't been picked up yet. it was picked up later in the day, i said usually UPS picks up just once a day and it can be earlier than the given time on the box. in the evening i went to perform, and it was a small lineup. when i arrived it hadn't started yet, and another performer said the show runner was waiting for a fourth performer to arrive, and that was me, i guess. i did stories about graphs, insurance company commercials, mall stores, and more about the bank.
