much like on thanksgiving a year ago, i decided to do a Charlie Brown jigsaw puzzle. except i found out this one was larger even though it was also 500 pieces. it is a space theme, bought at five below. in many ways it dovetails well with visiting Dubuque, Iowa, for the exhibit this month. no surprise, i got more done with it once i shut off the TV. i watched the first two games of the day, packers beat the lions and cowboys beat the chiefs. i had two turkey dinners that were heated up in the microwave oven, along with an English muffin and blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream. i got a text from Yemen native and sent one to a classmate in Iowa. in the morning i ordered a movie ticket for the weekend. and i watched my DVD copy of 'planes trains and automobiles', my annual viewing of it. figured it was a good way to fill in the time before the first football game started. the Charlie Brown thanksgiving disc also had its annual viewing, the night before. hard to say how long it will take to finish the puzzle, but it has taken shape.
