when i was riding the bus home tonight after work i saw a girl wearing blue suede shoes, much like the song made famous by elvis presley and others. i stayed an hour later than normal to see everything was caught up since i am out of the office on friday. it was a busier day at work than typical, 2 meetings to attend. i got a certificate for top performer in my department for march, i saw the email waiting for me on monday. i ordered 2 gift cards with it, to the gap and to express where i can get some good office-appropriate outfits. what likely helped by stats then would be taking a day off just once. much like in september, i didn't take any time off that month.
i turned down some facebook invites for comedy shows tonight and stayed in to get caught up on going through mail and ATM receipts. 'big bang theory' had its season finale, as usual i enjoyed it. i got my membership fee sent in to the loft in minneapolis, a literary group i belong to, as the the form finally arrived. i was ready to just send in the check before even getting the form.
