crowded art gallery

i went to an art gallery tonight after work since i had heard about somebody i knew having art on display there. didn't stay long, small venue, too crowded. it was in lowertown st. paul. plenty of color in her paintings though, liked seeing it. my favorite was the photos of grand central station in new york city. been there before. said the same about seeing photos of union station in chicago as part of an art display at the round theater in minneapolis while there for a play. line was too long for food and drink, went to a superamerica nearby to eat dinner since i hadn't eaten yet. while driving downtown i saw a lucy statue outside a church, so i stopped long enough to get a picture of it. finding those charlie brown and snoopy statues is truly like a treasure hunt.
did more online research about the newton country club, one article said the elks lodge was interested in buying it but not sold yet to anyone. the reporter questioned the wisdom of it. liked one of the commenters suggesting they turn the golf course into a cornfield. it's tough doing business with a bankrupt company, i hope that my class reps decide they aren't touching the country club with a 10-foot pole. i'm doing my best in voicing my opinion and presenting my findings to all.
