waterloo in pop culture

i spoke of previous class reunions on a date this weekend, i said how some classmates had mellowed out since they 'had met their waterloo'. i knew there was a song about it, found more than one. the one by stonewall jackson was closer to what i was familiar with than the one by ABBA. but a few words were different. both songs were inspired by napoleon's defeat at the battle of waterloo in 1815, proving he was beatable. on youtube i also found clips from 'bill and ted' as well as a parody of the iraq war, set to the ABBA version of the song.
i did go to the comedy club tonight, but didn't stay for the entire show as i was tired and had a few things i wanted to get done at home like get in a registration form for a convention next month.
i didn't get a bridge walk in today at lunch, but i did get over to the walgreen to get some more shampoo since i had just run out this morning. i like doing the bridge walk so i want to resume them real soon.
