i liked attending a lunch and learn at work earlier today, about emotional intelligence. it was a seminar given by a senior leader that i know fairly well, which was a good drawing card for me as part of 'develop U' week. made sense on having to hold emotions in check in order to be successful, i know some would call this passion as well. there's nothing wrong with having a competitive fire as long as it's controlled well enough. i knew joakim noah, the basketball player, sure has the competitive fire.
almost forgot about needing to pay on my best buy account so i had to go voer to their nearest location after work tonight before going to the comedy club. i liked getting a shout out from the contest coordinator, when he was reading who was the winner of the night. i said 'i wish' since i wasn't onstage tonight. apparently there was hail in the area, but no hail damage on my car.
