A notable Facebook posting today from International Falls was about getting unsolicited advice on her comedy sets. There was also mention of one of these being too much lipstick. In one of my responses it led to me saying that I don't date comics to Bus Fare. So I put it in my set tonight at the comedy club. Another was about how I collect some items no longer made like Canadian pennies and a Subway sub club card.
After the show I went to the grocery store and there still was a bag of corn chips at the discount table so I bought it along with some Russell Stover pumpkin candies and a carameled apple. While there I heard the song 'Follow your Heart', by Brett Dennen. It reminded me of being in Chicago at a writers convention just over 2 years ago.
Also at the comedy club, International Falls did ones about street harasser, friend dumped, cross-fit, day 402 no HR, raw dog it, emergency contact to prince, and I got a shout-out about a dead cat. Long Straw did ones about Carly Rae Jepsen, Winston Churchill, hang in there poster, Beloit parents, porn viruses, and a Honda Accord. New Ulm mayor did ones about has a cold, jerking off, football, and lab testing. Magic Man did ones about homeowner, shovel your walk, Halloween, crying clown costume, buy groceries for Dad, James Bond, and Mission Impossible.
