While riding the bus home from work tonight I saw a young woman with a big plush elephant in tow, so big it got its own bus seat. I wanted a picture of it and lucked out that she got off at the same bus stop as me. So I got one when we were waiting for the traffic light to change. It was nearly as big as the woman.
A good show at the comedy club tonight, Bathtub was show closer and did ones about Craigslist and a couch with $41,000 in it. Sub teacher did a history joke, and of course I like those. It was about FDR and who he was married to. Another was about his lady working at MNDOT. The MC did ones about working construction and how it just felt right. Maryland did ones about Nike, mold, an orgy, hockey, and a flop in the NBA. Apron did ones about JFK and somebody who should be the coach. Nurses aide did ones about her dog, and a retirement plan. Yemen native did ones about a Wal-Mart checkout, un-natural, and Detroit. Tortoise and hare performed, but I can't read my notes. Bus fare did ones about a super-villain, and a bathrobe. Mr. Pibb did ones about Macy's, and Grandma's voice. D.C. native did ones about the movie Top Gun, and a weight loss prize. School bouncer did ones about he will be next, a godfather, and a some assembly required bike. Laundry did one about a Highland Park deli. Red-faced comic did ones about too much fun, and makeup.
