Edie Brickell And The New Bohemians

While at the comedy club tonight for some reason I started thinking about a song I hard heard long ago that was in the movie 'Born on the 4th of July'. I found out it was 'A hard rain's a gonna fall' by Edie Brickell and the new Bohemians. It didn't surprise me much to find out it was a cover of a Bob Dylan song. I am reminded of finding out 'Wagon wheel' was also written by bob Dylan, but I was more familiar with someone else performing it. There must have been a comic who did a joke that got me to think of lyrics like 'It's hard, hard rain, and blue eyed son'. I thought of 'Summertime Sadness' by Lana Del Rey as well, haven't listened to Lana in a while. I was flattered when the brothers spoke of finding one of my Rooftop comedy clips, as it was from a while ago. I spoke about being in some sketches with The Turkeys in response to it, and how thankful I am to get invited by the Big Dog to do them. The brothers said they had seen these sketches as well. I liked performing tonight, I did ones about internet dating and being accident prone among others.
In the afternoon we didn't do a walk like last week, it was back to Wii dancing as it was windy and chilly outside. Some of those we danced to was 'Song 2 (woo hoo)' by Blur, 'Chicken payback', 'Can't hurry love', and 'Hot-stepper'. For some reason I thought this last song had a lyric that was 'Murderer' but it was actually 'Word 'em up'. My boss was in for a half day, but then was out again. At least my vacation day next month has been approved now, it is for a Roosevelt mentoring event.
