dirty business play

tonight I went to see a play at the history theater, my second of the season. it was called 'dirty business', about women who were spies in world war two. I was drawn to it because one of the four profiled was josephine baker, as I had seen a bio-pic about her that was on cable TV. there of course were some other compelling stories in it besides just that one, and I understand the Minnesotan in it was betty pack. I bought a ticket in the lowest price point, and it was obstructed view as it was in the front row close to the stage. I liked being close to the stage, but I was in the corner. the man making announcements before the show saw me and said I could move to another seat at the intermission if I could find one, so I did. I found something in the upper level, a better view but still somewhat of an obstruction. at the intermission I picked up a flyer about the lineup of shows for next season, and it looks like there is one that is of interest to me. I will likely get a card mailed to me as well.
at work we had some more training, and I got qualified in all three categories. I ended up scoring 47 tests, we got started on scoring just before lunchtime. but I was tired and was scoring kind of slow. I had to get used to the material we are reading as well. I was told to approve my timesheet before the second break, as there is no work available this weekend due to the holiday. after the play I went over to a karaoke bar and sang 'stressed out' by 21 pilots. I chose that one as I like the line 'wake up you need to make money'. I don't have cable TV so I also liked watching the monitors there. this included some ultimate fighting from long island in new York, the Nassau coliseum.
