I just finished some ice cream from aldi, called 'thank you cherry much'. pretty good. I got it today as part of my weekly grocery order. I went there in the evening after I woke up. as usual, I must have been really comfortable in my easy chair. I did my typical weekend errand running, going to the post office. there was three e-bay orders waiting, and that leaves 8 orders outstanding. then I went to the counter to pay for the next 6 months on my box. I got the employee that likes to joke around, but I said I really needed to be serious here. but then we got back to me responding to his jokes. then it was on the library to return two movies and get two more. and of course print various things.
after I got back from the grocery store I was online for a while, and was kind of paying attention to the movie channel, which was showing 'giant', starring james dean. I got caught up on getting comedy souvenirs in the binder as well, but it meant freeing up some sheet protectors to do it of course. then after the news it was on to perform at the karaoke venue. I did 'looking out my back door' by creedence clearwater revival. I saw the bubbly lady, and her husband as well.
while I was online I found out that the iowa hawkeye football team won big against Illinois. I checked the paper from the previous day that projects them in a bowl called 'redbox' if they win out. this is the one in northern California, at the 49ers stadium. I am familiar with how there once was a bowl game that was sponsored by blockbuster video, in florida. I still use redbox from time to time, and the emails I am getting tell me there is a free night waiting for me. this is likely due to their loyalty program, as I recall I needed 15 rentals for it.
