a man at the open-mic tonight had a shirt on saying 'veterans for peace'. he was a british bloke and when he went to perform he spoke of serving in bosnia and Kosovo. it was a little disorderly during my set by I knew well enough to just plow through it.
I went to a hiring event but it was a waste of time aside from the free snack food, and m and m cookie and some fritos. only had call center work, and pay was too low. in the afternoon I went to the library to apply for more jobs and got a response before I left. now I will wonder how far it will go as agencies have sounded enthusiastic about placing me before but then it always seems to fall though.
